209 Cinnamon Ginger Kombucha

Medium: Digital Art (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) I had to create a series of kombuch, from labeling to marketing. This was probably one of my hardest projects because there were so many pieces that I had to take into consideration, and not just if it looked good to me. I wanted to go against the "happy fun" kombucha aesthetic and aim it towards more serious individuals, or that one person that wont touch anything if it looks to healthy or girly.

Size: 41.7" x 27.8" Medium: GIF (Adobe Photoshop) This is my first GIF ever. My entire branding campaign is based on my kombucha is good for your gut no matter your shape or size. I decide to go with stomach as the main focus; one, as a shock to get the viewers attention and secondly, to emphasize that this is good for your gut.

Size: 8.5" x 11" Medium: Digital Art (Adobe Illustrator) I wanted my design to fit my bottles look. so I went with what I thought was simple and dynamic. I wanted to go against the "happy fun" kombucha aesthetic and aim it towards more serious individuals. Those that want to be healthy but not look like they are trying, or have a reputation and want to seem like they are still the party hard type.

11" x 17" Digital (Adobe Illustrator) One of the campaign ads that I made for my fictional kombucha. I was play with the idea that you are what you eat and that kombucha is good for you gut.

Grid 1

Size: 160" x 80" Medium: Digital art (Adobe Illustrator) Using only rectangles I had to to create a black and white composition. Utilizing a grid and using each cell or cells to determine size and placement of both black rectangles and the white interval spaces between.

Grid 2

Size: 160" x 80" Medium: Digital art (Adobe Illustrator) Using the grid from earlier I had to show gradual movement while implying space and shape.

Grid 3

Size: 160" x 80" Medium: Digital art (Adobe Illustrator) Still using the same grid from earlier and still showing gradual movement with implied space and shape, now I have to morph square as it moves.

Grid 4

Size: 160" x 80" Medium: Digital art (Adobe Illustrator) This one I might have botched a bit. I was supposed to use the guidelines from Grid 3 and show movement and morphing to shape the word. Technically I did that, just not in the expected way.

Grid 5 Ver 5.7.5

Size: 32" x 20" Medium: Digital art (Adobe Illustrator) This one took a lot of tweaking, like a lot. I used the guidelines from the previous pieces and added a high contrast image along with two words (redemption for Grid 4), while still showing movement and morphing.

The Three Moon Goddess

Size: 13" x 19" Medium: Digital art (Adobe Illustrator) The goal of this assignment was to use, one or more of the three figure and ground visual relationships to create an illusion and to evoke the feeling of magic in some way by manipulating the figure and ground relationship between the shapes, patterns, images, and words that are used on the poster.
